Hezbollah Severely Outnumbered but Fighting Boldly

Author: Lance Winslow

The International Terrorist Organization Hezbollah is said to be severely outnumbered while fighting Israel. Some of the estimates are that there are only some 1500 war fighters still engaged in the fighting at the Lebanon-Israeli Border. Hezbollah says it is getting new war fighters in each day, mostly volunteers from Lebanon who have joined their cause. Some say that these Hezbollah war fighters are very brave, although some have fled in disgrace out of fear of their Jewish enemy.

Civilians near the Southern Border have been warned to evacuate and most have, some have stayed in defiance. Some civilians in Lebanon are worried they may be hit with artillery or missiles from the sky as the advancing Israeli army hunts down every single member of Hezbollah. How long can Hezbollah hold out and how long will their missile launchers last until they too are hit? How long can Lebanon last until it ceases to be of any commercial value with towns, roads and infrastructure destroyed?

There are many areas of Lebanon totally unscathed, yet those areas known to be areas of high-concentration of Hezbollah such as Southern Beirut are completely destroyed. In looking at all the damage and continued casualties one has to ask, who started all this anyway and why? Why did Hezbollah attack the Israeli Border? Consider all this in 2006.
