Increased Engine Power

Author: Bob Power

In previous articles on the Econo Fuel Chip, "Auto Fuel Chips and How they Work", I looked at the fuel chip and how it actually works and in the article "Savings Of 7% To 27%" I focused on the extensive testing that has been conducted on the fuel chips and in the article "Fewer Auto Exhaust Emissions With Fuel Chips" I looked at the emissions reduction claims and test results.

Next I wanted to have a look at the increased power claim, and how that is actually accomplished.

Once the resonant frequencies of the fuel chips impacts the fuel, it increases the combustion strength in the cylinder head which in turn increases the pressure on the pistons resulting in increased engine power, especially in the lower RPM range.

This makes sense if you know how an engine works. Basically the fuel combusts in a chamber in your engine. In a four cylinder car there are four chambers with four pistons, in a six cylinder car there are six chambers, six pistons and so on. When the fuel combusts, with a spark from your spark plugs, or electronically in some vehicles, it basically results in a tiny explosion of the fuel. The result is that the force of that tiny explosion forces the piston down. The piston is connected to the drive shaft which moves your vehicle. When the tiny explosion results it also produces a by-product, exhaust emissions, which are forced out through your tail pipe when the piston moves back up in the chamber.

If you understand this simplified version of how an engine works, then it makes sense that if the fuel is combusted more efficiently, with less by product, then the result is an increase in engine performance.
